As mentioned in my Sixth Sense post, I was finishing my thesis in April so I didn’t watch any movies at the time. In May, I caught up but I didn’t make posts. I started procrastinating on writing my posts even though I would watch the movies and then the backlog about my backlog was beginning. To start fresh, I’m just gonna do a quick blast through the remaining posts, the goal is completion, not perfection.

Memento is another amazing unreliable narrator movie. In the same vein as Shutter Island and as many twists as The Departed. I really like it. It was full of misdirection and confusion by the movie structure, dialogue and setting. There are so many details I probably missed that would be worth multiple rewatches.

I HIGHLY recommend this movie, which is why I’m giving it a 5/5.

I had a busy April finishing my master’s thesis, so I am 4 movies behind. I’ve watched 2 movies this week and will be watching 2 movies next week to catch up. The first movie I’m starting with is The Sixth Sense. It stars Haley Joel Osment and Bruce Willis and was directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

Going into this movie, I only really knew the like “I see dead people”, and boy, this movie was great! Both Osment and Willis did phenomenal jobs in their roles. The movie was suspenseful and thrilling but still balanced. I really enjoyed it, and I give it a 5/5. The next movie is Memento!
