A Few Good Men was a movie I’ve quoted throughout my life but had never seen. Quick summary, a marine, Santiago is found dead in Guantanimo Bay. Two other marines are arrested and to be tried for his murder. Tom Cruise’s character, Lt. Daniel Kaffee is a lawyer known for making plea deals is assigned to the case. The movie follows the military court process and the unravelling of what may be a greater conspiracy. Overall, the movie was really good! Jack Nicholson continues to prove that he is the perfect person to play crazy. I also see why Tom Cruise was in so many movies, he was a heartthrob from the beginning of his career.

I also appreciated that the movie didn’t shy away from the fact that though the two marines were following orders, ultimately it was still their choice and actions that lead to the person’s death. They still had a part and responsibilty in their actions. I will be keeping it in my collection, 4/5! Next week’s movie is The Sound of Music.
