52in52: 5 Movie Catch Up

As mentioned in my Sixth Sense post, I was finishing my thesis in April so I didn’t watch any movies at the time. In May, I caught up but I didn’t make posts. I started procrastinating on writing my posts even though I would watch the movies and then the backlog about my backlog was beginning. To start fresh, I’m just gonna do a quick blast through the remaining posts, the goal is completion, not perfection.

Futuristic sci-fi movie. They throw you right into the movie and throw bits of exposition throughout the movie. It a fun watch, but confusing at times to follow. I’d give it a 3/5.

Bill Murray relives the same day over again. It was a long movie. At times it felt slow, but that was probably cause I wasn’t in the mood for that kind of movie. It was still an enjoyable watch - 3/5.

Phenomenal movie. Denzel Washington did great and I see why he won an oscar for this role. Great watch, highly recommend - 4/5.

A shorter Ghibli movie. It was a cute and fun watch! I enjoyed for what it was but I liked the other ones with a more robust story more - 3/5.

It was a Korean murder mystery from 2003. It was a fun watch. It was very intentional, and sutle. Highly recommend a watch - 4/5.
